I NEED HELP!
For camp, its superhero day soon and I want to make a superhero costume.
She doesnt have to be a real superhero,
but any ideas of who to be or how to make it?
Thanks!
Depending on wacky you're willing to be, you'll want tights or leggings in a crazy colour or black. If you have any plain short shorts made of sweats material put these over top. If not, maybe a skirt, or other shorts. A plain tee or tank matching either the tights or shorts. If you have any, put leg warmers over the tights.
A cape! You need a cape. If anyone in your family can sew, this is real easy. Choose a plain, thin, jersey fabric that matches a part of your outfit. Perhaps one can be found at Value Village or a costume store, too.
If you can't get a cape, at least try to make yourself a mask. Here is a pattern: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Use felt (easily found at craft stores/ fabric stores and often dollar stores.) and again, a colour that matches. Carefully cut this shape out of felt, making sure it is the right size first, and punch two holes on the sides. Attach elastic string and there you go.
Hairdo: two high side pony tails or high side buns, or a really high ponytail. Hair should be gelled back, very sleek. You're a super hero, you can't have any distractions.
To top it off, you can choose a red lipstick.
Contrasting colours work great together for your colour scheme.
