bestfriend troubles.

i have liked this boy for 3 yrs. and we went out 3 times already. but i always broke up with him because i was afraid. because ive never felt like this for a guys before. but see i was w. my best friend lets say Marge and i was tellin marge how much i liked him and all these story of the times ive had with him and all this stuff. and about 1 week later shes going out with him. WTF?!?! like seriosuly. she met him once! and then they go out theyve known eachother for about a month. ohh and guess who introduced her to him? umm yeah me! thanks. ughh this is soo gay. cuz like i love hangin with marge but whenever i hang with her she always brings him up and ive told her that i hate when she does but she just says oh well. he doesnt like you he likes me. and she always hangs with him whenever im with her. and i tell her im uncomfortable and shes like oh my god! whatever and flips out and i rele wanan be her friend. but liike hes done this beofre like if i brake up with him he goes out with my friends to make me jealous. ughh. i dont know. i like him so much. and now this "event" is comin up where she wants me to go to but hes gonna be there, and i dont know what to do. cuz i have a choice family function which i rele want to go to or this "event" which i rele wanna go to which one will i regret?? i dont know help me plezz this is destroyign my life!?!?????!?!??!

well first of all, what were you afraid of when you broke up with him? and for marge to do that to you, that is NOT what "best friends" do. that is really wrong to do. and yeah, i have been in one of those situations where you introduce one of your rfiends to another one and they are obsessed with each other. and maybe marge always brings him up when you hang out just to make you jealous b/c she knows that you like him alot and she knows that she will probally never have what you two have / had. If he breaks up ith your friends just to make him jealous, then he still really likes you.
and to choose which event, which one will you feel more comfortable at? at this "event" will other friends be there? b/c if Marge ditches you or something... you dont just want to be alone. and if you go to your family function then you have NO worries about this guy or Marge, and you can ALWAYS rely on your family... not always marge. im sorry i cant tell you which one to go to, you have to choose that one.
and when she just says oh well, and he likes you and not me... that shows that she isnt really a friend to you and she doesnt care abotu how you feel. you could try to talk to her about it, and again if she doesnt listen then say that your friendship wont work out until she shows you some respect. but if you dont want to talk to her about it and just keep letting her do this to you, then her AND other people will just push you around.
