Loud computer drive noise

Well it's definitely probably not the fan but my computer hard drive has this huge noise and I don't think it's nroaml because when i go downstairs I can still hear it and it's very annoying when everyone is sleeping and I want to go on but it's so loud!

My computer has no virus..

Mine does that too. It's really loud & annoying. Sometimes it does it randomly, but everytime we scan for viruses on our computer it does it. I actually asked a question about it before & people said that it's usually normal & older computer fans do that, but it could be your hard drive. I would suggest getting it looked at by someone, especially if it starts becoming slow. It won't hurt to get it looked at. You might want to google it. There's different websites & forums you can look at also.

It would help to know how old your computer is. If it is fairly old, say more than a few years, I would say its probably your hard drive revving too much and failing as a result. I wouldn't be surprised if your computer stopped working completely soon.

On the other hand, try this as well - take discs out of the disc drive. My computer's disc drives are failing and they spin the discs far too fast which creates a horrible noise.
