base guitar

ohkay so im getting a base guitar soon
and i have NO idead whatsoever how to play,
like everything confuses me, like how the hell are you supposed to understand the music notes?
please helpp!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't attempt trying to learn guitar on your own, without even knowing how to read ntoes. I'm learning how to play acoustic guitar on my own, but that's fine because I have prior knowledge about reading music. Use google to find free online programs, or get a bass teacher.

It's called a BASS guitar, although bass is pronounced base.

I'd suggest getting yourself a tutor if you have no idea what you're doing, as it's pointless even explaining how to read guitar tabs if you don't know the notes or understand how they work

I'm sure googling "free bass guitar lessons" might help you a little.
