aim express..please help

i cant download aim on my computer because last time it brought a virus and my dad said not to download it again. so i heard about aim express and i want to try it but i cant this is what it says.
"You have successfully logged into Aim Express. However, we are unable to launch your Buddy List because you have Popup blocking enabled. Please disable the Popup blocker or add the *.aimexpress.aol.com and aimexpress.aol.com domain to the allowed white list.
Please refer to your Popup blocker software for more information."
how can i fix this? can i get step by step help? please thanks! if it helps i rate!

highly depends on what internet browser you are using, and what popup blocker service. somewhere in the buttonbar of your browser there should be something that refers to a popup blocker. click it, and look at the options. you should have something like "allow popups from this site"

The same thing happens to me- even when I have pop-up blocker not active. AIM Express is a piece of crap. It doesn't work if you're using Mozilla Firefox, AOL Explorer, or any other type of web browser. The only place I've found that AIM Express works is at the public library.
I suggest asking your dad if you can download AIM 6.0 or whatever version they have now. If you got a virus once, I bet you anything you won't get one again.
