i dream of an elevator going up and down rapidly. i press buttons and panic that the door will open so i dont stop and theres only the up and down button which i press one after the other nonstop. and theres people coming after me so that heightens the panic. does this symbolize anything?
Technically dreams are just your subconscience or some mumbo jumbo like that.
Did you know that we are constantly dreaming while asleep and that we only remember our last dream, or our longest/biggest/scariest/happiest or something like that?
I'm not sure about details, but some foods trigger weird dreams (or so it seems. Everytime I eat cheese before I go to bed I dream about my ex best friend who was lactose intolerant. I'm not really sure why, I suppose it's something subconsciously - or so I've always been told.
I've also been told that you dream about whatever you're last thinking of (like in the back of your mind) when you sleep. Which is supposedly the reason you tend to have nightmares when you sleep stressed out.
There are a bunch of websites you could go to so you can get your dream interpreted. Just google "dream interpretation" or something along those lines. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]

To dream that you are ascending in an elevator, signifies that you will quickly rise to status and wealth. You may have risen to a higher level of consciousness and are looking at the world from an elevated viewpoint. Descending in an elevator, denotes that misfortunes will crush and discourage you. The up and down action of the elevator may represent the ups and downs of your life go emerging out of and submerging into your subconscious.
To dream that the elevator is out of order or that it is not letting you off, symbolizes that your emotions have gotten out of control. [ beckyboo's advice column | Ask beckyboo A Question ]
