My cousin asked me to play on his team in softball this year for the 4th of July (traditional event). I said yes. Then my cousin told me that my crush was going to be on the same team. I thought this might be a really good chance to talk to him. Do you have any pointers? Ice breakers? Anything that can mean us talking like friends?

CalamityStrike answered Monday July 2 2007, 8:26 pm: What I would do is, if I had a crush and I wanted to talk to him, I would actually bring a friend with me and start a conversation with him, it will be more comfertable being with a friend and your crush together and starting a conversation all together than just going up to him by yourself ^_^ [ CalamityStrike's advice column | Ask CalamityStrike A Question ]

" they say " i dont know" and then you say " i dont either but its enough to break the ice. hey my name is ____" but only if your up to saying something corny [ janelle2332's advice column | Ask janelle2332 A Question ]

Or you can have your cousin round all the players up for a practice game. That way you can have a chance to hang out with him before you actually have to go to the game. This way, you'll know a little about him beforehand and can talk to him easier on the fourth.
