co-ed trip with friends

Question Posted Friday June 29 2007, 9:52 pm

ok a big group of my friends are going down to the beach (only like an hour away from my house) to stay at my friends beach house. The group would inlude both boys and girls but there wouldnt be any sexual activities because we are just all good friends and my friends parents would be there anyways. The only problem is that my parents aren't quite sure if they will allow me to go since it is co-ed. If anyone has some advice on what I can tell them to make it more convincing that would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

Tell your parents exactly who is going. Let them speak to you friend's parents. You should even have your parents meet everyone that is going if that isn't enough.

try telling your parents that you are going to go to the beach with a bunch of friends. and not to worry beucase parents are going to be there. and if they ask you what friends tell them everyone that is going so they know that there will be boys there but only say if they ask and say dont worry they are just friends nothing is going to happen. hope that helps! have funn at the beach if you do go!

Maybe have your friend's parents talk to your parents to let them know everything will be supervised and safe.
