i have medium brown hair. its a little darker than medium, but its not extremely dark
anyways i heard using sun-in on darkish hair turns it orange
i dont need my hair to get blonde but i wanted it to be lighterr

It turns orange for some people, but not all. Lemon juice does work just as well though, because that's basically what sun in is.

I used that a few summers ago. It works a leetle bit but it won't turn your hair orange. My hair was the same color as yours when I used it and my hair turned out fine, but not as light as I had hoped.

My hair is the same exact color.
In the summer when I want my hair to become a little lighter.
I put lemon juice in my hair then go swimming.
Make sure it's sunny. But don't stay out for too long.
Maybe like ten minutes in the sun would do the trick.
