What if you become friends with your one good friend's friends? Maybe you two could go to a party together.. or hang out with some other people. Try getting involved, too. Since you're just entering high school, are you interested in any sports or activities? try out or join! that's always a good way to meet new people. Or if you have a myspace.. start talking to people through that.. but be safe.. and know for sure who you're talking too. Just try to be a friendly person, and stay away from people like your old friends, who don't seem to be like good friends at all
