cell phone in hawaii

hi, on sunday i am going to hawaii, and i was wondering if my verizon cell phone would work there. my dad wasnt sure because it might just work in th 48 states, but its a verizon phone, and idk we have like afamily plan.

They will work no problem you dont have to set anything up. I've been there plenty of times with no problems at all :0D

What you have do is call the verizon customer service and tell them that you are flying to hawaii. They can set it up so all your family's cell phones will work. I think it may cost a little extra per-minute or txt msg, but I know they can do ti because thats what my family had to do when we went to HI.
