school ended two days ago and i really want to look my best for next year.
my goal is too loose 20lbs by August 31st. I'm doing this for multiple reasons. To feel better about myself, be at a healthy weight for my heart-problem, and to learn to take care of my body.
right now i'm 143lbs. i would LIKE to weigh 120-122lbs.
what i want to know, is what foods do I eat to help me loose weight? i was thinking about the Slimfast Diet but it seems kind of boring. If it helps, I'm a vegetarian.
I would try to stay away from carbs - as mentioned. I mean, still get your daily grain in and everything but cut down a bit if you haven't already. Fruits and veggies are your best bet. As for liquids - I wouldn't know what to drink because all I drink is water. I get sick from everything besides that.
The slimfast diet isn't really what you need. It gets very expensive over a period of time as well. All you really need to do is eat healthy and plan out a daily excerise routine.
I go for a run about four times a week doing the mile. If you do run - don't overdue it. Walking and jogging will also help. Think about it - if you jog, you can go further!
Also - work on the parts of your body you would like to slim down on. For me - its my stomach. [ickk] So, I tend to do about 2 sets of 25 crunches, maybe 10 push ups, and pilates too. Of course - if you're just getting into this, start off really good. Don't strain yourself. I just do sports year-round.
Hope I helped. If you have any more questions - I'm here.

Im also a vegetarian and i know its hard to resist eating ONLY carbs. Healthier eating habits will help. Replace soda with water and try eating more vegetables. Try running more often, swimming, and try some other sports. Good luck and i hope i helped
