Ever hear the saying "You are your own worst critic"? You are being way too hard on yourself to think your friends and family won't like your script idea.

Listen, back in the day I wrote poems and short stories for my English class. I worried that no one would like them if they read them. Well, I could have never been more wrong about it.

My teacher loved them, all of my school mates loved them (I had 1st hour English, and my teacher read them to all of his classes), my friends loved them, my parents loved them, and they showed them to their friends at work, and THEIR friends loved them.

So don't think people aren't going to like what you write. Like me, you can never be more wrong about that. :)

That sounds like it would make a great movie. What do you mean that your friends and family won't like it. Do you mean that they are not supportive of you when you make statements about being an actress or writing a screne play? Is the screne play going to be loosely based on your family? And are you afraid that they won't like the way you portray them? If you keep the story up beat and funny, and if it has a happy ending, I don't see why they should be upset. But I think you should do it anyway. All the peopole you see on TV and in the movies, all had a burning desire, just like you do, to be involved in the movie business. And all of them had friends or family that made fun of them. But they couldn't forget what their real desire was. They never forgot. Many of them got involved with acting in High School. that is something you can do when the time comes. If you go to college and take theater classes, you will be able to write your own screen play or TV show and see it performed and be graded on it. Most of the actors and actresses you know have all had some schooling or training in acting and writing and theater. Good luck to you dear and don't let any one discourage you. If you write the play, you must be able to take "constructive critisim". Ideas and suggestions to make improvements and to make it better. But you have to know the difference. If someone you know family or friend is critical, (and not constructive) you can say something like: "Oh Sorry, I was looking for suggestions on how to make it better or improve it, I was not looking for citisism, I guess you don't know enough about writing screen plays to comment. I won't bother you again."
and let it go at that. Just show it to people who are going to encourage you dear. That is how you will succeed. And don't give up. Follow your dream.
