Right now, I am using a Nikon Coolpix S1 and it's really good for about anything. It takes good photography shots as well as really fast snapshots if you need it to.
The one downside about a Nikon Coolpix S1 is that since it has such a large screen and doesn't have a normal viewfinder, the battery runs out very quickly.
One brand that alot of my friends are really in love with is the Nikon D70. It takes wonderful pictures and is really sturdy.
orphans answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 5:09 pm: nikon and cannon make the best ones. why? because nikon and cannon are actual camera companies. they actually make and build cameras and have always done that since their company started. kodak you would think would be the same, as with fuji. but the problem is kodak has terrible quality control. and fuji is owns subaru motors and focuses more on building cars these days and not on cameras. go with a nikon or cannon they are your best bet. and this information i got from a photographer friend of mine.
