I actually love guys with lip rings, but when I've kissed a guy with a lip ring I don't really find it any different than one without one. Although, there are tricks you can use with a lip ring, so I guess it is more of a turn on. =]

Personally I don't think so. But he can always take it out if the person is like that. On the other hand it depends because different people like different things. Maybe he could even ask someone he cares about and see what they say. But no matter what its not as permanent as it seems so if you want to take a risk, i say go for it. Hope I helped.
