I cant get over him.
Okay.
So me and this guy, we'll call him john.
me and john dated on and off for almost 3 full years.
i actually felt that i loved him, and i felt love FROM him. to make things short, he cheated on me, i took him back, like and idiot, and things just didnt work out.
we're still friends, but no matter how hard i try, i can't let go of the feelings i have for him. like i just can't stop loving him.
he has hurt me , yeah, but more times than not, he was an amazing boyfriend.
i can't get over him, and i want to, desperately, and i know i need to.
any suggestions on how i can without being depressed about it?

Okay no iffense to the one below me but i was in the same situation at one time so i went for another guy and that made things worse! because then i was all protective and scared he was gonna cheat on me and he did the whole you can trust me thing and ended up cheating on me! So what I suggest you to do is lay low and be single for awhile and hangout with your friends to get your mind off things. the more your not doing stuff the more you'll think about him! But dont stop being his friend of course!

hmm... thats a tough one. All I can say is someone who treats you bad is not worth it. I got out of a relationship too and he played me like a game of poker. Everyone was saying "Hallie, dont worry about it. All of his next girlfriends are going to realize the same thing.." Soon after, everyone despised him because of his conceited and playful ways. The trick is to keep your mind busy on someone else. Look for other guys to fall over that are actually worth it. Who knows-- you might even find your soul mate..
