Breathing issue?

Question Posted Friday June 15 2007, 11:05 pm

14/f

Today and yesterday I've been feeling like I can't breathe as deeply as I want to. It's weird.

is this asthma or what?

if it helps- i'm not out of shape. slightly overweight, but in fairly good physical condition.

Ive had this problem for years now. It usually helps if you dont think about breathing. When I asked my dad about my problem he said that it was nothing to worry about. It does sound a bit like asthma because my sister has it, but I dont have asthma so there's probably nothing to worry about. hope this helped.

i've had the same problem for years.. i don't know what it is but it's not asthma. i'm 106lbs, and when it started i was less than 97. this was five + years ago. I have skoliosis, if you don't know what that is, its a big curve in my spine, and the top curve goes over one of my lungs so i've just always thought that's what is wrong.

i've been wrong before so don't take my word for it. i'm just letting you know you're not alone.

i think you should go get checked out for asthma. or it could be something minor but tell your parents to take you to the doctor just to be sure.
