Actually, I would say don't practice like that. You don't want to be too rehearsed when you make out with someone. It really is something that comes natural, and if you practice and think about it too much, then you're not going to listen to your natural instinct. You will do fine, and everything will come to you within the first minute.
So skip practicing on ice cream or pillows. Get plenty of practice with the guy instead =)

what i have heard is that there is 2 things you can do. one is just kiss him see how he does when kissing and go from that. just becuase he has kissed alot of girls doesnt mean he is a good kisser. otherwise if you dont really want to wait then when you are just spell out your name with your tounge. it sounds a little weird but it could help

practice on your pillow your hand it sounds a little weird but maybe you can practice on a mirror or a stuffed animal or get one of those fake lips somewhere and practicing your kissing skills on them
