IMPORTANT RECORDING QUESTION!!!!!!

Question Posted Thursday June 14 2007, 11:59 am

Ok, I just realized that someone from our house of Prayer left ALL of their audio equipment at my house temporarily. WEe're talking 20 channel mixer, Huge Bass Amp, Nice Bass Guitar, Shure Mics, and whatever else crap I can use to record.

What I wanna do is run the instruments into the mixer and then run them into my computer (which will be in there also) and then use a program to combine it all together (since I'm not in a band, I'd have to do all the instruments myself). the drums are going to be micced to the mixer, and guitars run straight into the mixer (bass and and lectric, and I'll have to do the electric twice so I can get simple leads in there) and then the vocals can be done to the song once the instruments are mixed into a complete track.

Is there software I can download or Buy to do this? PLEASE PLEASE someone tell me something!

Yeah. There's a lot of programs out there.
I recomend Pro Tools LE & the M box.
It's simple to use.

If you have any questions on how to use it, or mixing. Feel free to ask.
