if i were to spray spf 30 and then if i sprayed spf 4 dark tanning oil would i still have proctetion from the UVA and UVB rays? or should i just stick to the sfp 30 when i'm outside for a longgg time. and use the spf 4 once in awhile when i'm outside for only an hour or so?

Maybe give some free advice about: Health? superstarblue89 answered Wednesday June 13 2007, 10:55 am: even when your only outside for about an hour you should still use the spf 30...using tanning oil doesn't protect you against harmful rays from the sun...and not all sunscreens protect you from UVA and UVB rays...most only protect against UVA rays which age the skin...but don't protect against UVB rays which cause skin cancer...make sure you get a sunscreen that says that it protects against both types of rays and always wear sunscreen when your going to be out in any sort of prolonged sun exposure...you can wear tanning oil over the sunscreen but make sure that the sunscreen is there to prevent skin cancer [ superstarblue89's advice column | Ask superstarblue89 A Question ]
