hole shown in leg, what could it be?
ok, on my moms outter thigh on the left side there is an indention. it started comming up about a month ago. it is about as big as the palm of your hand, and it it noticable. where the indention is, it doesnt hurt, but it hurts around the hip & butt area and makes her whole leg ache. she cant bend that leg as much as she can the other one. what could be the cause of this and what needs to be done?

could be a brown recluse bite. but even if its not it needs to be looked at

My advice for your mom:
Go to the doctors. Nobody an diagnose you without knowing more about you, and we are not doctors (well...not most of us). If anyone suggests anything that it deffinatly is, they could easily be wrong, and it could be worse.

Your mom needs to go to the doctor. None of us here are doctors, so we can't say "oh its definitely this". I would suggest for her to make an appointment asap. It could be nothing, or it could be something more serious. It could be a Neuromuscular Disease but there are more symptoms.
