Arthane answered Thursday June 7 2007, 6:22 pm: Acting can be one of the most fun, and trying professions. To answer your questions about getting better at singing, dancing, and acting, this is my advice: For your singing(Yes it really does help your career if you can sing) go and seek out your high school choir teacher, or go and apply for singing lessons. I've been singing for all of my high school years, I can help you as much as I can, but only if you ask. Second your dancing, there are many great dancing instructional videos out there, you just have to find the right one, or you could take dancing lessons. And for the acting, that just takes lots and lots of practice. The main thing that people have trouble with their acting is that either they look like their acting (over acting) or they're not acting enough (Lack of developing and getting into character),or again you can find an acting coach. If your just finding out about your passion for acting, take some college drama classes, they're very beneficial. I'll try to help as much as I can, need more help just ask me (Arthane) your questions. Hope this info helps. Good Luck with your career.:) [ Arthane's advice column | Ask Arthane A Question ]
