and thats how much memory it will

they all have different capactitys for holding songs. it depends on how many gigs you have on it.
i have the 8g one and i can hold around 2000 sounds and a bagillion photos. and i think the 4 gig can hold about 1000 and the 2g around 800. to be certain check out the ipod website.
