Macromedia Flash 8
about two weeks ago I got the new at&t high speed internet. I dont know why, but everytime i want to play a video or game a site comes up and says that i need to download "Macromedia Flash 8 required". I do download it & the movie comes up most of the time & it says it was installed. I go back on myspace to view music or something & the sign re plays over that i need to download it. I really dont know whats going on but im having trouble doing everything.
i need domeones advice on how to make it workk!!

There are two things it could return that indicate you have everything installed.:
"javascript and flash works. You have version 9 installed. The current version is 9."
OR
"flash detection using javascript failed, I'll try VBScript(if there's nothing else, use a different browser or OS)... flash is installed, it is version 9. The current version is 9."
If your version is less than 9(the current version), go to start>control panel>add/remove programs. Remove "macromedia flash player" or something like that. Then install the new version using the link on my diagnostic page. My page will give instructions if you have javascript turned off. Good luck!
