You sound like me last year. I was battling anorexia for awhile. It got to the point where I realized I needed to eat because I kept getting lightheaded, headaches, and dizzy spells, except that by the time I realized that it was all from not eating, food made me feel sick. My body couldn't handle it. Fixing it took a WHOLE lot of will power and, believe it or not, research.
I work out a lot. When you work out, you HAVE to eat, or your body will eat up any muscle you created from your workout because it can't find nutrients anywhere else.
You need to realize that food is not your enemy. Even if you are a little overweight, you know what would help you?
Eating MORE.
I eat like six meals a day - but they're small, and every three or four hours.
Doing that^ helps speed up your metabolism, as long as you're eating the right thing. (Which in most cases is lots of lean protein, lots of fruits and veggies, and some complex carbs earlier in the day. I'd stick with wheat - my nutritionist told me all that.)
You need at least 1000 calories a day or your body will wind up in starvation mode, where it stores everything you eat, and actually makes you GAIN weight...or at the very least, doesn't make you lose it (trust me).
Anyway, the hardest thing for me to do was to tell my parents what was wrong, but I had to do it. I went home on a break from college, and told my mom "I think I have an eating disorder." In response, she calmly asked what she could do. I told her to help me eat something every three hours whether I said I wanted to or not.
It was difficult, but now I feel better, AND I look better. The muscle I gain from working out now stays, and I have a nice set of abs. ^_^

I suggest enlightening your parents to your situation, and asking them for help.

I sympathize, though, sweetheart. If you need someone to talk to, drop one in my inbox and I'll give you my screen name.

That's sure what it sounds like. Actually, that's the definition of anorexia: restriction of food for the fear of becoming overweight.

It would also help us if you put your height and weight, because then we could tell you if you are "medically" underweight according to your BMI.

If you believe you could be anorexic, you should talk to a parent, friend, or counselor. Many cases of anorexia can't be cured without admission to a hospital or at least some therapy, depending on the severity of the case.

Okay, this whole thing is going to sound mean but only because I have very strong feelings on this matter: Only you really know that answer fiy ou are anorexic or not. From what it sounds like you might be in the beginning phases. Child, don't do this to yourself. Eat some food. In the end and when you're over your "anorexic phase" you'll look back and realize how stupid it was. Unless you are extremely obese then I seriously, SERIOUSLY, doubt you should even consider not eating. Nobody should for that matter. Alot of people, normally teenage girls, worry about their weight all of the time when the realization is that they are a normal weight teen!
So save yourself some hard times, embarassment, and troubles with your family and eat some food.
