uisforukelele answered Monday June 4 2007, 1:02 pm: cingular is 10 cents to send one, and it's probably 10 cents to receive one too. it's best to just call the cingular people and get a plan. it's only like five bucks for unlimited, i think. check their website. 10 cents doesn't seem like a lot, but it adds up... i have a friend who had a 100 dollar phone bill! FrEe2bMe answered Monday June 4 2007, 10:53 am: Every cell phone provider is going to vary o their policy on text message, but Cingular in particular charges a rate of 10 cents per text message sent and/or recieved. This is of course without any type of texting plan on your account. Their account options for text messaging vary. You can get one as low as 200 texts for 4.99 a month. They are also offering unlimited text messages to and from other Cingular customers for just $5 more a month. Log onto cingular.com for more info. Also, you may want to warn your parents ahead of time so you don't get yourself into too much trouble.
