Ok, well 3 of my best friends are graduating this year. I have this really amazing boyfriend and were like really close (you kinda have to be im the only girl in my class and im in a class of 9) but anyways the other nite my friend text me and starting getting really mad at me. She says i always ditch them to hang out with him and she didnt care if we were friends anymore and how hes always an ass to her and i made him that way and none of its true! Her and my 2 other friends are always saying these little comments like keep it PG over there that bug me and thats why im always hanging out with him. So how do i get them to stop acting this way and be my friend again.

Teza answered Monday June 4 2007, 8:04 pm: You may not realize it, but sometimes you might actually put your boyfriend first instead of your friends. Most people don't want to admit it but other people can see it. I'm not saying that you are doing that, but just think about it. You have to make time for your friends and your boyfriend. You can't just hang out with one and not the other. It's complicated but your friends also need to respect that. When your friends say those comments it's because they are kidding around and don't take it so personally. If it bothers you that much, tell them to stop and that it's not funny. If that is the reason why you're always hanging out with him, you need to talk to your friends and solve this. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
