redecorating

Question Posted Sunday June 3 2007, 8:12 pm

i want to redecorate my room, but i'm not really sure what to do. i'm 14/f, but i want a room i'll like for a while

i have a really small room, so i need ways to use the space very effectively, and make it appear bigger than it is.

i also need suggestions about color, etc. i don't really want a "theme" bedroom, though.

If you don't want a theme, go for maybe a color theme. Choose two or three complienting colors and try to get the majority of things in your room to match them. You could do pinks and yellows, or blue, white, and a soft yellow, or anything really. As well, the color of your walls should be really light. The lighter the color, the bigger the room looks. Also, try for really efficient storage. Get lots of cabinets and drawers. That will keep clutter and other little things hidden and will make your room look cleaner, and therefore, like a more open space.
