is it legal for rastafarians to smoke weed? because they "talk to there god" while smoking it right? so like, if they get caught smoking, cant they just say they're doing something religious because they believe in rastafarianism?

weed is illegal no matter who you are...if it were legal for Rastafarians to do it then anybody could just say that they were...they don't get special treatment, religious or not.

weed is still illegal, regardless. if it wasn't illegal for rastafarians, then how do the cops know who is rastafarian and who isn't? anybody can say that they are, so that wouldn't be very reliable.

although it is part of their religion, it is still illegal for them to smoke weed. if they get caught, they arent going to get off because they say it's part of their religion. anyone, hypothetically, could say that they are rastafarian and are doing it for their religion.
