My friends and I went on an exercise regimen, just to get more toned for the summer. Part of that regimen is 100 oblique crunches per day [the ones where you're not working out your abs, but more your 'love handles' or whatever, on the sides].
I've been doing my crunches for a couple of days now, but I'm not um, "feeling the burn," if you know what I mean. Like, it doesn't feel like I'm doing any kind of exercise.
Am I doing something wrong? I had never done these kinds of crunches before... so maybe I'm doing them wrong.

BrittanyMegan answered Saturday June 2 2007, 11:49 pm: no. you are probably doing them right, you dont have to be feeling the burn to be exercising right, and when your "feeling the BURN" it mean that you are streatching or overwoking your muscles. so no dont worry. and remember you dont get the result ina few days. and if your young that can also be a reason. because the younger you are the more your muscles can take and the more reason you may not feel the burn!!!
good luck exercising!!!!!
CheerCandi answered Saturday June 2 2007, 11:47 pm: if your not feeling the burn then your either not doing it right or its not hard enough which just means you need another way to get rid of those love handles. look at how your friends are doing it, and ask them exactly how their doing it.
