i've been going out with my boyfriend for almost 3 years, but i've known him all my life. he's extremely popular, good looking, outgoing and funny - basically a chick magnet with girls flocking to him all the time. he loves the attention and flirts a lot. i know there have been times that he's been close to breaking up with me for another girl, but so far he has stuck with me. one time he even told a girl he would break up with me to go out with her, but then he told her he couldn't do it because he really loves me. anyway, i really love him a lot but needless to say i'm constantly worried. i know there's no way to stop his flirting, thats just his personality and i dont think he'll ever change. part of me thinks i should just live with it, since after all it's me he's going out with and i do believe he really loves me. but sometimes i think i should just cut him loose so i don't have to be worried all the time. i know there are guys out there who wouldnt flirt and cause me so much grief... but i cant imagine liking anyone the way i love him. ahhhh what should i do?
CheerCandi answered Saturday June 2 2007, 10:50 pm: well dont think that you cant spice up the relationship. but really if you both love each other there really shouldnt be much of a problem. i think you both need a good talk. hes hurting you and its to the point where you want to break up with him. he should get serious if hes serious about. he needs to understand that he cant keep going around to all these girls and keep comeing back to you. basically by your decription of him it seems that hes a 'mack'. you really dont want a mack as your boyfriend and you need to tell him that. stay close to him when other girls come around. keep a watchful eye without spieng on him. take him places make sure your weekends are filled with romance so he wont get bored and going to other girls.
