Sorry this is long, but I'm not sure how else to explain everything.
I live in America, but I recently accepted a place at a school in England to start Uni this fall.
I did two years of schooling at a community college in FL and received an Associate's degree, and had a full scholarship to continue onto a University anywhere in FL, but I couldn't find a school that had a programme that I was interested enough in.
By the time I start Uni this fall, it will have been two years since I graduated from college. I took the time off to figure out exactly where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do, and also to give myself a break since I felt completely burned out from studying.
My only problem is that my dad's side of the family does not support my descision to go to England AT ALL. In their eyes, I'm throwing away a scholarship and acting foolishly. They have more than enough money to afford my tuition, but since they don't support my descision, they won't give me a dime.
This means that I'm left to pay for 3 years of schooling by myself, which means I have to take out over $75,000 in loans.
My mom totally supports my decision, but she cannot afford to help me out with tuition either.
I've tried to find scholarships, but haven't been able to find any for my school or programme.
My question is this: Does anyone know of any specific places that offer loans for international schooling that have low interest rates and do not require someone to co-sign the loan? I don't have any credit at all, so I know that I will have to pay a higher rate than someone who has really good credit, but I'd like to find the lowest rate as possible.
Thank you if you can help x

Maybe give some free advice about: Colleges & Universities? 228gurl answered Friday June 1 2007, 5:18 pm: Try for grants, department of education, or citibank for student loans. You can also ask the university of your choice if they have a work study program you could just say work at the campus library to knock off some of the tuition or maybe tutor at the university. Hope this helps Good Luck and I hope your family sees that you are trying to further your education and be what you want to be. Hope this helps:-)
