i read in one of your answers that you have scoliosis. I have it also. I was just wondering how bad yours is. i had to wear a brace for 5 years.. and then last year. i had surgery..

ooh. mine's not that bad. I've had it for ... four years I think. Its only a 5-7 degree curve. just enough to be excruciatingly painful when I stand for too long. My doctor told me that if I work out my abs doing pilaties (I spelled that wrong)or anything of the sort just to strengthen them it will take 1/3 of the pressure off of your lower back. and my colorguard insturctor had me improve my posture.. and holy hell you would not believe how much standing entirely upright and poised makes a difference.
