My family hit a tough stop =/ We have money, just not as much as we'd like. My friends always ask me to go to the movies, and place that cost money. Yes, we have money, but not enough for me to be spening it on things like movies, and jack n the box. I tell my friends I can't go, and they always ask me why. What do I tell them ? Personally, I don't feel like I should have to explain my family or their situation to them. I don't want my friends symthy.. So what kind of reasons can I give, so that my friends don't feel sorry for me =/ Thanks Teza !! BTW : you columns pictures are always cute.

Teza answered Tuesday May 29 2007, 10:49 am: Your family situations are your own personal buisness and you shouldn't have to explain yourself if you don't feel like it. You can tell your best friends what's going on but they won't feel sorry for you. I have a friend that was going through the same thing. Her mom got sick and didn't work for a while, but we didn't feel sorry for her, we understood and helped her out. No big deal. You can tell them that you didn't get your alounce [ sp ] and that you're not allowed to go. Also, you could start saving your own money. Maybe help out around the house and your parents' could give you like 5 bucks. Don't be embarassed that you don't have enough money to spend on things like that. Your friends will understand.
