When your iPod is connected to iTunes, on the left navigation bar it'll have an icon that says iPod.
Click on it and you should see everything that is on your iPod.
Just choose the songs you want to delete, and they're gone! :]

Sorry, but I don't think there is a way to delete them straight from your iPod. I'm pretty sure you have to delete them through iTunes.

Steps for deleting them off of iTunes:
1)Find the song you want to delete and right click on it.
2)On the list the "delete" button is third from the bottum.
3)Left click "delete."
4)It should ask you "are you sure?" or something like that. Click "yes" or "ok."

Hope that helped. Really sorry I couldn't help you with deleting them off of your iPod because I really don't think you can.

delete them from itunes, plug your ipod into your computer and update it.
or you can switch the ipod settings to manual and then drag all songs except for the ones you want to delete onto your ipod
