How jealous is too jealous?

Question Posted Thursday May 24 2007, 9:23 pm

This is the deal , I'm jealous. I'm a very jealous person.. and my last boyfriend broke up with my for being too jealous. So I have this new boyfriend.. who I've been on and off with for the past year or so. Recently he told me he has been going to his neighbors house once and a while ( at night ) when she has a friend over. His neighbor happens to be one of my firends (nota close friend) but shes my friend and shes 14 and shes gorgeous. So he asked me if this was alright just to hangout and stuff and I was like sure I guess.. however he told me he stayed untill 4 in the morning. He is planning on doing it again this weekend and he is totally honest with me and tells me what they do which is watch movies and just hangout . I want to tell him I dont like when he does this... but i dont want him to think I'm obbsessive. What should I do? Am I over-jealous?

No I don't think you're over jealous. I wouldn't like it if my boyfriend was hanging round at another girls house til 4 in the morning even if they were just watching movies.
I'd rather that he was with me or at his own house or something.

I think you should just tell him how you feel, that is upsets you cos you want him to spend time with you and not his neighbour, but tell him you don't mind him spending time with other people but not til ridiclous times in the morning or something.

Hopefully he won't see that as possesive, you can't hold your feelings in about these things or it will just eat away at you and then eventually you will come off as jealous and obsessive.
Just be honest with him and it should all be ok.
