what kind of friend is she?

When I tell my friend that im sad she cares and talks to me, and cheers me up and stuff and listen to me when needed. BUT when im not sad she doesnt really talk to me at all even though i start the conversation why is that?

She probably doesn't know what to say. She's great with solving people's problems, but no so great at small talk.


When you start the conversation, do so with something you KNOW she likes- her favorite band (see if they're touring and go together or bring it up at least) or go shopping and ask for her opinion. And try not to think about how awkward it is, because YOU may sound uncertain too!
