i need to make sure i become a transfer student and not waste any time in a community college.
how do i make it clear to them that, thats what i want?also what is the placement test like? i know its math and english but what level and how do i prepare for it? anything you think i should know about?>thanks
As far as the placement test goes, it'll be basic math and basic English. Geometry and basic algebra for the math portion, plus things like common sense addition -- nothing "higher level." As far as English, it'll be pretty much like your state standardized tests... sentence structure, punctuation, reading comprehension. I don't know if there's a writing portion. I don't know if they'd have information on the placement tests on the college's website, but you should look around for it; you might even find practice tests. its basic math and english... a lot of common sense stuff. and basic knowledge. o real need to worry about it =) although if you absolutely feel like you want to try tp prepare yourself, you can go online and google placement test prep... and there you go =)
As for being a transfer student, simply tell them! =)
