well i had a similar thing happen to me once. i really liked a good friend of mine and i wanted to go out with him. he showed ALL the signs of liking me and i thought he was gonna ask me out. he was hugging me holding hands and flirting nonstop. but then he said that he "wasnt in the position to like anyone" and i was like wtf? so a few weeks later he says "well im not realyl sure about how i feel. i dont wanna hurt you by dating you without acutally liking you. for a while now ive been gay..." so i was like ok its fine. i mean they cant control being gay...no one can. dont worry for now unless he does something to make you think he is. hope this helps some...

Well first you have to ask yourself why you think he MIGHT be gay. If you gave some examples or something of what he does/says that makes you think this way, that would help us a lot. Being the most specific you can be on this site is best if you want good advice.

But anyways, one thing is to not assume he's gay because his immature little friends say "what a fag" or something stupid like that. Now, if some guy tells you that he made out with your boyfriend, that's a different story. ;)

Another thing is to not assume he's gay because of the way he talks or walks. Don't be stereotypical. Even if he "sounds gay", it doesn't mean he is.

Some other things would be checking out other guys, touching other guys in ways that seem a little too friendly, making comments about other men that are suspicious to you, etc.

But really, there are no signs that are a tell-tale sign that your boyfriend is gay...or that anyone is gay. If you feel comfortable enough to ask him about it, do that, but who knows if he'd tell the truth? He probably wouldn't on this subject.

Unless you have something to really worry about or some big reason to think he may be gay, I wouldn't fret too much. Just let it slide and see how it goes, just watch him a little and see if anything seems suspicious.

If he's gay, he's gay. There's nothing you can do about it. If he's not, then then there's nothing to worry about.
