New Orleans rebuilding a school

Question Posted Monday May 21 2007, 9:04 pm

I am interested in "adopting" a school in New Orleans that was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. I would like to be able to rebuild it and to get donations to furnish it (with desks, chalkboards, computers etc.)

Does anyone know of a school like this...or of a website that i can find this information.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!!!

I would say your best bet is to contact the New Orleans City Hall.

New Orleans City Hall
1300 Perdido Street
New Orleans, LA 70112

City Hall Operator: (504) 658-4000
