Question Posted Sunday May 20 2007, 10:02 pm

I had a virus on my computer the other day and I then did that system recovery(I don't really know how to get a virus off cause my norton anti-virus or whatever it was expired.) After I did the system recovery my speakers wouldn't work, on my thing I play music on it says "Media Error: Cannot play back the audio steam: no audio hardware is available, or the hardware is not responding." What could this mean? & How could I fix this problem? I'm not really an expert with computers! Thanks in advance!

Audio drivers are broken. The virus is probably still there, download antivir: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) . That probably won't fix the sound. The easiest way to make the sound work is to reinstall windows. The other procedure(reinstall the drivers) is complex, and I don't want to deal with it on advicenators, you can contact me at theymos@lycos.com if you want to do that.
