So i've been on strict caloric restrictions (for weight loss purposes) for about 3 months now... And recently after a period of doing really badly (going above 2000) I returned to 1200. Now I never feel hungry- even if I don't eat anything it's like my stomach has something in it all the time that I didn't put in there. And I'm concerned that this might be starvation mode.
Bucket answered Sunday May 20 2007, 12:51 pm: Yeah, pretty much that's what they call 'starvation mode.' I'd suggest that even when you're not feeling hungry, eat anyway -- even if it's just small meals. Then work your way back up to your 1200 calories or whatever.
