Starvation mode? So i've been on strict caloric restrictions (for weight loss purposes) for about 3 months now... And recently after a period of doing really badly (going above 2000) I returned to 1200. Now I never feel hungry- even if I don't eat anything it's like my stomach has something in it all the time that I didn't put in there. And I'm concerned that this might be starvation mode.
How can I tell if I'm in it or not?
thanks

Why does nobody realise that eating less doesn't help you lose weight? you should do more exercise..because the less you eat..the more your body takes to the fat reserves because it thinks you will be hungry at the time..so it tries to protect itself. ]
Yeah, pretty much that's what they call 'starvation mode.' I'd suggest that even when you're not feeling hungry, eat anyway -- even if it's just small meals. Then work your way back up to your 1200 calories or whatever. ]
