Reading a book. Stradegies not to fall asleep...? hey guys! well, here's the thing. For every marking period, our english teacher assigns us two books to read. And this marking period, we had to read Ender's Game and Fahrenheit 451. (dunno if anyone has ever heard of them). Well, I'm done with Ender's Game (nearly, at least) and so there's no prob with that. The only thing that is left is Fahrehnheit 451, which is about 180 pages long, but a pretty difficult read. The book exam for these two books for me is on tuesday. Unfortunately, I can't spend the entire day reading them tomorrow, since I have other crap to do. How can a person, when reading their book in a VERY limited amount of time, NOT fall asleep while doing it? or...what's a more efficient way to read books? PLEASE ;_; I need this....Thanks much :D

When I don't read books for my class, I go to sparknotes.com or cliffnotes.com. They don't have like A LOT of detail though so you might want to skim through a few chapters. Hope I helped. ]
sparknotes.com. it probably won't be as good for your exam with those books because it doesn't have all the details, but you get the gist of the book. you could always drink anything with caffeine... coffee, soft drinks, energy drinks. you could also set little goals for yourself by chapter. for example, you could say, "when i finish chapter whatever, i can eat a handful of m&ms" or something. it always works for me :) good luck! ]
