Question Posted Saturday May 19 2007, 4:32 pm

Has anyone ever used nair or any products that do the same thing?
Does it actually work?
And is it bad to use it like once or twice over the summer like for the beach?
Which brand is the best?

i love nair, it smells real bad though.
I never had a problem with burning or anything,
just make sure you don't leave it on too long, and never use it more than once in 24 hours.
You can use it every other day.

i used nair last year in 7th grade, and boy do i regret it! first of all, it smells horrible, and second of all when i put it on my legs, after 2 minutes i wiped it off like it says. my legs burnt like HELL and they were ALL RED and bumpy. not a pretty sight. i had the same experience with veet too. if you have sensitive skin i DO NOT suggest you trying these, but go right ahead if you want to. however, it did take off all of the leg hair =] i suggest sticking to shaving or waxing, waxing lasts longer and is super effective. i think nair makes waxing strips, and you can buy them at any drugstore or just at walmart or target. hope i helped and good luck with it!
