i need to learn how to do the splits in either direction and a toetouch in only 1 week...can someone give me some serious step by step help to try to reach this goal? i know it seems unrealistic but i must try. thanks in advance!

ThatsMagic answered Saturday May 19 2007, 11:59 am: ok well im a cheerleader and can do toetouch and split it took me 1 month for both way splits and another 3 weeks on top of that to do a toetouch! so i doubt that someone can do it in a week ! if you Really want to learn, i would say keep streching you legs everyday for about 10 mins more if you want, remember to make sure you dont pull a muscle in you leg/thigh.A trampoline in a great way to learn toetouches. REMEMBER you dont try and accually touch your toes. do not lean forward or you will go down with your legs keep your back straight and try getting your legs up high. Doing kicks can also help the higher you kick the more likley you are to reach a toetouch.i would also ask a dance/cheerleading teacher to help. Dont try and rush doing them or you will really hurt youself.
