Help me gain my boyfriends trust!

Question Posted Friday May 18 2007, 10:26 am

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 5 months in June and he and I are really in love with each other. He is always there for me and I love him more than anything! The only problem is that he has trust issues and doesn't like letting people get close because he thinks that he is always going to end up hurt. I tell him everyday how much I love him, but he gets so paranoid that I am going to leave him hurting. I want nothing more than for him to be happy and I have no intention of leaving him. He and I have discussed our future together and it's clear we want to be together. I just want to know how do I let him know that he can trust me and open up to me the way I trust and open up to him? I am 17 and he is 19. I know we are young, but my love for him is real and I know his love for me is real too.
