Ok so i am in 8th grade and i would like to be more outgoing, i flirt with the boys and everything but i'm still kind of shy in class.. What are some things that i can do to get rid of my shyness and actually take risks and be outgoing for once in my life?
I know this is hard, believe me I do, but you really have to force yourself. It is scary at first, but trust me, the beginning is hardest. Start very small. Smile at or talk to people who are nice first, so you know you will get treated nice back. This will make you more comfortable.
Also, start a little reward system. This is something that has worked for me. Everytime you do something hard for you, put one marble (or anything else like this) into a little jar. When the jar fills up, treat yourself to something you really want. It is best to make it something relatively big, because you had to work so hard to get it.
I hope these suggestions work for you, and if you need anything else, don't hesitate to write back! :)

anyways, first make sure your teacher is " the cool one" and doesnt think your a bad ass or anything. 2nd, make sure you know what your talking about. :)
in class, be like, " but i thought it could go like this" and make the teacher explain it to you, then be like ,, " ohhh"
if you have to give an oral presentation, or a report, project, ect. exxagerate a little bit.
make the whole class look at you, use your hands a lot. act ditzy but not preppy.
Ditzy- hhahah!, i knew that.
Preppy- OMG!
for example in my algebra class, i had to give a quote of pythagoras. and it was something with big huge words. after i said it, i was like i dont know what that means, but it sounds smart.

BE YOURSELF! and dont get in trouble while doing it... [ cmarie159's advice column | Ask cmarie159 A Question ]
