If you like film Rotten Tomatoes (rottentomatoes.com) has several forums that are always buzzing that you can register for. Just have a poke around that site.
That's the best place I can recommend to you about film where people talk about it and are obsessed. If you go on Myspace and hit the tab to search under film you'll find tons of indie filmmakers, critics, fans etc that have created public groups you can join and discuss film.
Several actual review Web sites have their own forums as well. Ain't it Cool News which is one of the foremost film sites on the web (aintitcoolnews.com) has a chatroom on their site and I think forums too.
If you get onto Google and punch in film review sites you can poke around some of the well-known ones and quirkier ones to find forums and chatrooms. I hope what I've given you here starts you on that journey of discovery.
