A peom

Question Posted Wednesday May 16 2007, 5:53 am

Does this peom sound to lovey dovey? (be honset)

will be there for you
When you fall
When you cry
When you think life has no meaning

Where ever I am
Where ever you are
Who ever you are with
Who ever I am with
I will still think of you

I will protect you
I will help you
I always have your back
Because you are my friend,

I love you forever…

i wrote this to my best friend that i know for 8 years and i like her more than a friend.
i told that i had feelings for her. and she said she not ready for a realtionship right now and she not sure what gender she is intersed into.
but my guy friend called me and that he told her how he felt about her. he said that he like her but wants to be friends. she reasponed "well Tammy played a song for me that is repeteing over my head about friends" (im tammy) well i try to remember what song i played for her.....but i never played a song for her. i wrote that poem for her after i told her how i felt about her. was she qouating the peom? is she repeteing that over and over her head????

When it comes to something such as friendship, this poem is wonderful. It's not about what kind words you use in them poem, it's more about the intentions. Your friend should be very thankful for this poem, and since you are not a professional writer, she shouldn't, and probably wouldn't be offended since the poem isn't written on a professional level.

But yes, the poem is cliche and that well written. But it's about how well written it is, it's about your intentions and your friendship. if you really want to write something on the next level, send me a message.

In all honesty, that poem's really cliche and poorly written. If someone gave that to me I would realize that it was with their best intentions, but I would also wonder why they wouldn't take the time to write a decent poem for me.
