My friend wants to get into modeling, but she's not sure how to start. What's a good idea to start off a modeling career? (fyi, we live in South Carolina so we can't just drive over to LA or to NYC)

Well, since you can't go to NYC or LA [lol], you can jus look up some local modeling angencies that are near by you. And try to get a contract with them
Also, get involved with some modeling classes. Honestly, the more experience you have, the more likely you'll get a contract, and the more likely you'll ACTUALLY get a call to do something =)
